Entry #3. Fresh

There is never any harm in wanting the freshest of the fresh breath. To speak openly and freely to others without a thought in your head that your breath might smell odd. Since Covid-19,  all of us have to wear masks whenever we enter a public place. I will admit, ever since I have had to wear a mask I don't really think about my breath and how it smells. The other day I was at the grocery store and wanted something to chew on. I purchased a red and silver rectangular container. It was compact and gave me old fashioned vibes. I started by unwrapping the plastic that sealed the container. Opening the package was a little tough because it was just a simple metal case. When I fully opened the top, the paper in the container was a light white color, it was also see-through. The smell you automatically get was refreshing and clean. I love any types of smells like this because it reminds me of a fresh clean start to your day. The objects inside the container were circular white pill looking refreshments. I began to put one in my mouth when I started to feel something spicy on my tongue. Now I don't mean spicy like hot sauce, I mean spicy because it is so strong and fresh. I had mixed emotions at first but began to like the freshness of this! While it was sitting in my mouth is began to slowly melt. This process took around five minutes for it to fully dissolve. This certain purchase reminded me of when I was younger. I used to go in my moms purse and grab these to snack on but the "spicy" flavor would make me spit it out!

  7. I really like you use the words "spicy" to describe the flavor of a strong mint, I can almost feel how strong the mint tastes. I think if you talk about he sweetness in the mint could be better.
It is a great idea of using breath in the mask lead to buying some mints. Also, I have the same experience like you with mint candy when I was small, I laughed when I read you last part.
